Refund and Returns Policy

Overview

For products classified as end user retail products, our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. Products classified as research products are not eligible for any returns, refunds, or exchanges.

To be eligible for a retail product return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Consumable products cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are soldered or modified in any way, including kits assembled according to the instructions.


Additional non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products
  • Batteries, wheels, motors, or any items that are expected to accumulate wear and tear in normal use.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.


There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, typically within one business week.


Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check the account for your payment method. 

Please note that some credit cards may take up to one full billing cycle before your refund is officially posted.

If you have not received your approved refund after the appropriate time based on your payment method, please use our contact form and we’ll be happy to check the status of your transaction.


Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

Exchanges are generally governed by the same policies as for refunds and are also subject to availability.

Shipping returns

To return your eligible end user retail product, you first need to contact us for an RMA (return merchandise authorization) code. Shipments received without RMA codes will be rejected. We will indicate the return shipping address when the RMA is issued.

Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
